It's not a device/browser issue although it feels like malware when the adblocker blocks the page, it's a shady (probably money generating) redirect related to AOL/Oath/Yahoo, best avoid everything from this dark caves of the internet incl. Huffpost, Engadget and all Oath-owned American rubbish. Especially AOL is bottom of the trashbin crap from the past, for email better use Protonmail, from Switzerland and protecting your privacy. Cheers.

The AOL/Guce problem started in Edge a couple of days ago.  It happened several weeks ago but went away without me doing anything to correct it.  The AOL problem doesn't show up in Chrome or Firefox - only Edge or Internet Explorer.  I used the URL that Ralph provided in a blank tab in Edge and I accessed my AOL mail with no Guce interference one time.  It did not work a second time; the problem came back.

I did a reboot of my computer (I do this daily anyway.) and Ralph's URL is working for me again … for now.

For all having problem with the Guce.advertising.com This is the fault of aol and yahoo because of there Verizon ownership Oath,They are selling your email information to a 3rd party,I call aol help today because of this problem they tried to blame the problem on my computer but I told them its only on there 2 sites,Anyway they would only help remove it if I payed them $4.99 a month for 1 year or a 1 time fee of $9.99 for 30 day of tech help.I refuse and im going to shut down aol mail,,,This is just a money maker for them. This  is a real shame causing problem with people emails so they can get money from tech help calls !!!

It's been over a year since yafooie sent me a letter saying they partnered with guce and it started keeping me outta my email. Fut dat mo fo!  I simply went to log on and when it failed to open my mailbox I clicked on my History found the last time I got into my mail, clicked that and BAM! I was reading my mail in a second!  Its been over a year tricking guce until a few days ago when it locked me out completely. I think we need to shoot da goose with any and all anti guce weapons, burn down their facilities and leave all dead bodies in the flames to destroy the evidence.  People who fuck with outher people deserve pain and punishment.

Run Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool, that simple. Be prepared for a long journey depending on your speed but this wipes it out.

Cheers

This issue does not seem to be device-dependent. It appears to be (at least in my case) based on the wi-fi router or network you're connecting from. My mother's residence home has this issue. When I connect to their wi-fi network from her laptop, it redirects to guce site. But when I connect her laptop to a shared hotspot (from my mobile Verizon carrier).. .no problem.
