Hi There,
I like the autofill feature for forms on websites.
BUT it turns out in the compnay we using a CRM app and everytime I add a new customer chrome tries to autofill each field with my info (very handy when I am registering on other places tough) but is a pain when I use this crm.

How can I prevent autofill to work on a specific URL?

Thank you!

Any chance this could be added as a feature request? I work in tech support, and there are some particular sites where I need to work within the same Chrome user/profile (for sessions across multiple sites/domains) but auto-fill is very disruptive on one particular site.

Thanks

I can't make another Chrome profile and have it work with my company's forms: any other suggestions? This has been a serious issue on reports where I need to log in to various users' content to compile, then my information is overriding theirs....

I had this issue with the JIRA Board list drop down in their left sidebar, since the search field activates automatically and the google suggestion covers up the project at the top of the list.

I do believe developers can choose to program an auto-fill blocker for each of their form fields, manually, if a UX issue is discovered to warrant it. Most don't write that in by default, however, since auto-fill is handy in most cases. Perhaps you could write that page's web admin a note, with a screenshot showing how autofill blocks functionality, to ask them to push up a change for this.

As for self-managing it, what I found was that you can clear your individual suggestions with shift+alt+delete (true delete, not backspace) on a Mac (not sure about Windows) to get the suggestion window out of the way in a pinch. The next time you go back, though, you'll get new suggestions. To clear all possible suggestions in one go, you'd need to go to Settings > Clear Browsing Data > Advanced > Autofill form data and wipe everything under that option for all time. Anything newly input would naturally cause that to fill suggestions back up over time, though.

There are a couple of different auto-fill options you can disable in Chrome Settings (search for "auto" to see flags for all), but none allow you to disable it per-website. Best suggestion is to see if there's a chrome extension that adds this capability, a chrome beta or developer option that lets you manage this at a page level, or see if you can write a manual block into an existing extension you already use to modify your content viewing experience.
