Starting recently out of nowhere, Chrome is opening up random pages from content.7labs.io even if I did not open up chrome. It would just open up by itself three or more times.

Chrome has a built-in clean up tool:
  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
  3. At the bottom, click Advanced.
  4. Under “Reset and clean up,” click Clean up computer.
  5. Click Find.
  6. If you're asked to remove unwanted software, click Remove. You may be asked to reboot your computer.

I had the same problem, using the built-in chrome clean up didn't work for me, but I went to cookies in settings and cleared all data from 7 labs and blocked them on everything. Hopefully, it works.

OP,  is it possible to give an update in case you were able to solve this issue?
I'm having the same problem at the moment. Malwarebyte and Avast scans didn't find suspicious files.
I already tried clearing cache and cookies, deleting chrome policies and i've used the 'clean up computer' tool in chrome.

The problem seemed solved until I rebooted, then it reappeared.

I wonder if it has something to do with the 'managed by your organisation' notification in the chrome menu.
This notification is due to a recent update from avast.

I also had the same problem and tried all of the suggested solutions but they wont stop coming up. Ive also had three other sites that come up automatically (blog.wallpapervortex.com, blog.method.ac, and blog.historyloversclub.com). Ive never visited or clicked on any of these sites before.
