Print Preview in Chrome will not load 1 Recommended Answer 35 Replies 167 Upvotes

Hi, I am having issues with the print preview in Chrome. PC running W10 and all updates applied to the system and to Chrome.

It started a few days ago, seemed to come from nowhere though an update may have been applied in the background.

The issue is that the print preview screen doesn't finish loading - the 'Loading Preview' text doesn't go away and the destination printer has a refresh circle spinning around forever.

I've searched other similar issues and have so far tried;
- Create a new browser profile
- Cleared all histories and caches
- Said some really nasty things to my screen

None of these have had any effect (the last one did make me feel a little better though).

Any further advice appreciated.

I am having this same problem and can't resolve it by clearing and resetting browser settings.
Some help here would be greatly appreciated.  I too am running Windows 10 using Chrome with updates current.

I'm having the same issue, running on a macbook and macOS Mojave Version 10.14.4.

Not able to print from chrome, for any gmail/google user.

Seeing a spinning wheel next to destination and "Loading preview..." with jumping ellipsis over gray space.

Tried 1. deleting and reinstalling chrome, 2. clearing browsing data, deleting and reinstalling, 3. deleting a few unnecessary printers I'm no longer using. No luck.

Any help appreciated! Lots of printing to do! Thanks!
