Icons not working

Hi,

I'm having this issue with Google Chrome where my icons are not showing up. Whenever I go onto Google, my Google profile picture doesn't show up and appears white. When I go to Google Docs or Slides, all my document icons are blank (white). I tried clearing the cookies and cache and even uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome but the issue still persists. If I use a different browser such as Microsoft Edge, the icons appear but they refuse to appear on Chrome.

Hi,

Turns out it was the Malwarebytes extension that was causing problems. Thanks for the help!

Hi there,

Do you have this problem also in the Chrome incognito mode? If no, disable one by one the Chrome extension you are using now.

Do you have this problem also in the Chrome incognito mode? If no, disable one by one the Chrome extension you are using now.

Thanks for posting that. I've been trying for three days to work out that icon problem with Chrome.

I was trying to get into facebook using my icon and it took me to Google. One by one all the icons have done this and whenever I create a new shortcut, they do the same thing.

yeah even in incognito browser mine do not show I've noticed it is facebook twitter and linkedin look here https://awebsitehost.com near the bottom, see how you only see the instagram icon..there are three more you can see them in ANY other browser. I code, I have checked that on 10 different editors, unless your CDN is filtering off the image the trouble is with YOUR code. not the billions of browsers your update is affecting. chuckles..yeah it is EVERYONE elses stuff not ours.

Hello there,

Icons on my site are with https path and loading perfectly on previous chrome versions/safari browsers are not showing up in chrome 78 version. Same works fine on local development port and upon page refresh.

Also, it is happening quite frequently on mobile data connection than on wifi network. Any hack or quickfix to resolve this?
