how to change or delete the Google (doodle) and the Search bar?

ive changed the desktop picture in my chrome browser. the Google (doodle), google search bar and the add shortcut button are now in the way as being white and in center of the image. Is there a way to move them over somewhere else, adjust the opacity or just get rid of them all together as they are all accessible via other menus

not in stock chrome no.
There are various extensions that will allow you to change the NewTabPage
they'll be able to change it to a URL of an image file
