Hello Leslie,

You cannot disable that.
You are not required to use it.

In windows you can do it by editing the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome

you find the value "IncognitoModeAvailability", if it does not exist you can create it as "new value 32 bits", and put the value = 1

Restart the computer, and the options disappears.

There has to be a way to disable incognito mode PERMANENTLY on an iphone in Chrome/Google.  I know how to disable private browsing in Safari, but have yet to find a way to get rid of incognito in Chrome/Google.  And again on an iphone, not laptop....Anyone???

Seriously??? I understand that you're trying to be funny right?

If not, it means that you completely don't understand how much of an issues the your incognito mode causes.

All the content restriction and filters are circumvented by one click of a mouse. Not to mention lack of browsing history. You might as well have a "porn search" option added to Chrome available for every kid to access and leave no trace..

You need to add this ASAP. not everyone knows how to edit windows registry

How To Disable Incognito Mode In Chrome

Google Chrome’s Incognito Mode is a pretty neat feature. It allows you to keep your browsing history private when using a public computer or someone else’s device. You can also use it on your own device for personal reasons.
But when it comes to your children, especially if they are minors, then the Incognito Mode is not such a great thing. With it, they can use your home computer and access any forbidden internet fruit they want, without you ever knowing about it. That is why being able to prevent the use of Incognito Mode is a must.
How to Disable Incognito Mode in Windows
If you browse through Google Chrome options, you will notice there is nothing that allows you to disable the Incognito Mode. It would really come in handy if there was an option to lock its use with a password. Unfortunately, there’s no such option, so you will have to resort to some alternative solutions on your Windows machine.
First, you need to open the Registry Editor for your Windows 10 operating system and navigate to the proper location.
At the same time, press the Windows and R keys on your keyboard.
Open the Run Dialogue and type ‘regedit’
This will open the Run dialogue. Type here ‘regedit’ and press Enter on your keyboard.

Double-click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
This opens the Registry Editor. In the menu to the left, you will notice the Computer icon and various folders beneath it. If you do not see any folders beneath the Computer icon, double-click the icon to show them. Now look for the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder and double-click it to open it.

Click on ‘Software’
Next, open SOFTWARE.

Click on ‘Policies’
Then, open Policies.

Once you open the Policies folder, it should contain a folder titled Google. Open the folder by double-clicking it. Sometimes, you might not see the Google folder. In that case, you will have to create it on your own. To do so, follow the steps below:
Right-click ‘Policies’ then click ‘New’
Right-click Policies and click New from the menu.

Click Key

Rename ‘New Key #1’
A new folder titled New Key #1 will appear in the Policies folder. Right-click New Key #1 then click Rename from the menu.
Change New Key #1 to Google.

Now double-click the Google folder.
When you open the Google folder, it should contain a folder titled Chrome. Again, if you do not see it, you will have to create this one as well. Right-click Google and click ‘New’ from the menu.
Click Key.

The New Key #1 folder appears in the Google folder.

Right-click New Key #1 then click Rename from the menu.
Change New Key #1 to Chrome.

Double-click Chrome top open it.
Once within the Chrome folder, do the following to disable Chrome’s Incognito Mode: Right-click the Chrome folder and click New.
Click DWORD 32-bit value.

A New Value #1 entry will appear in the main window of the Registry Editor.

Right-click the new value. Click Rename.

Change the entry’s name from New Value #1 to IncognitoModeAvailability.

Double-click IncognitoModeAvailability. The Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value window will appear.

In the Value data field, change the value to 1. Leave the Base option set to Hexadecimal. Click OK to save the changes and close the window.

Close the Registry Editor.
Once you close the Registry Editor, the final step is to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. After the restart, open Google Chrome. You will notice that the option New Incognito Window is not available anymore.
