Introducing Default to Guest for Chrome Desktop
Hey everyone,
We're pleased to share a new feature that power users will appreciate. Default to Guest mode for Chrome Desktop is now available as an enterprise policy (preferred) or command-line switch.
This feature allows you to configure Chrome to always launch into Guest Mode, providing a stateless browsing experience from session to session.
See the instructions below, and learn more about command-line switches here.
Are you an Enterprise Administrator managing devices on behalf of others?
You can configure this feature on deployed machines using the “BrowserGuestModeEnforced” Chrome policy. Learn more about managing Chrome policies in the enterprise here.

Because we think it is important for users to have a consistent understanding of the state of this feature, fixed Guest Mode for the instances described here is disabled by removing the command-line switch.
Thanks,
Craig, Chrome Support Manager
