"This site can't be reached" error ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR
Hello,
I have been having a lot of trouble on Chrome with almost every website I visit giving me a "This site can't be reached" error. At first, the error code at the bottom is "ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR", and I tried fixing that by going to chrome://flags and disabling or enabling "Experimental QUIC protocol", neither option resolved the issue, so I returned it back to "Default". If the Experimental QUIC protocol is set to "enabled" or "disabled", I still get the "This site can't be reached error, just with a new code "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET". Here is a list of things I have tried and that have not resolved the issue:
- Restarting my laptop
- Restarting/resetting my router, checking with ISP
- Flushing DNS, performing Winsock reset
- Checking proxy settings
- Uninstalling 3rd party VPN software from my laptop completely
- Clearing my Chrome cache and cookies
- Adding an exception for Chrome on my anti-virus
- Disabling my anti-virus/Firewall
- Disabling all of my extensions on Chrome
- Running Chrome in Incognito mode
- Uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome
The weird thing is, sometimes, the same pages that do not load due to these errors suddenly work without me trying any specific solution. At other times, the pages work only in Chrome Incognito mode, but the same pages sometimes do not work in Incognito mode (without me making any changes)! Furthermore, the pages work just fine on Firefox, and they work on Chrome consistently but only if I use a VPN. I am running Chrome Version 130.0.6723.117 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10. Does anyone know any fix for this problem?
