Text half missing

The text on many webpages is missing most of the characters while other characters get cut off. This is not a pixelation issue related to ClearType as I have already tried that. To get text to appear, I have to highlight it with my mouse and sometimes even that doesn't work. I have restarted the PC and the browser to no avail.

I have the same problem, and disabling hardware acceleration was a band-aid solution, not a permanent fix

Hey all, thanks for reaching out to report this behavior.

Our team is investigating, but they need additional information to help find the cause.

If this behavior started during the last week or two, the following steps will help our team investigate:
  1. Open chrome://gpu and click the "Copy Report to Clipboard" button at the top.
  2. Paste the results into a text file, and save it to your device.
  3. Use the Chrome send feedback dialog to upload the text file for review.
  4. Please include "textgpu" in the text field of your feedback report.
  5. Respond here once you've submitted the feedback report.

Thanks!

My email content is missing. No html nor text. Everything is fine with Microsoft Edge.

The first lines of text disappear within the iframe when the iframe height gets updated/increased. In my case some text gets invisible when the height if the iframe is above 6000px.

I have updated my Chrome. I have reset my browser. The same issue happens when trying to do my home work through the connect software. WHY? This was not the case in using the same software prior to updating Google.  I have noticed several other issues such as Google wants to restore pages too.... Why?
Unable to attach my screen shot or attach a word doc with screen shot of the issue.
Thanks,
Rachel

Same problem typing in email or on any website.  A lower case "d" looks like a "c". A capital Y had one of the upper arms missing. No problem in Word, etc.

I followed the support request to send the issue file report. Hope they can get this resolved for me soon as I have been dealing with this for months the missing letters display in Chrome (other browsers are normal).

So for the last few days I have been having the issue of the rounded search box and the text not fitting into box when searching on my desktop PC. All browsers I use seems to do the same thing. Its annoying.  Time to switch to Bing.

I have a similar problem in Firefox (missing letters in text, resolved by reloading the website). So this might not only be a Chrome issue.

Craig - Chrome Support asks for help but not clearly enough for me.  I'd be happy to respond with a screenshot of the problem or any other info.   Having to move to Safari now.. How will I know when this is fixes in Chrome.. I won't.
Extremely annoying.

thanks for the heads up on turning off hardware accelerator.  That did the trick for me.
