How do you change your bookmarks back to sorted by date instead of by name?
I was experimenting with new bookmark organizers and now my bookmarks are all alphabetically organized and I cant reset it back to by date added. Im astounded that chrome doesnt have this feature and I just want a reset back to how it was organized before.
There are so many complaints about not being able to rectify a simple sort by function!!! Come on Google, just add a sort by date!!! I am at my wits end and find myself using firefox and even edge more and more because it's so damn frustrating.
Is it possible to show the date that bookmark added in the bookmark manager? This would help researcher tremendously in referencing the link. Thank you.
I am sick and tired of Google! I have left once, and I am about to leave again! Change the Bookmark Toolbar back to sorting by the Date! ANTIFA DORKS! BTW, WHAT I READ IN THE LINK BELOW IS CRAP!
SOUNDS LIKE WE NEED TO FIND A DIFFERENT BROWSER IF GOOGLE CAN'T ALLOW US TO SORT TO SUIT OUR PERSONAL NEEDS .. MUCH AS I LIKE OTHER FEATURES, I WANT THE ABILITY TO SORT MY BOOKMARKS BY DATE, OR ALPHABETICAL
Google you really are scum for doing this. I just changed the browser theme to make it less glaring and you reordered all the bookmarks alphabetically with no way to go back. How did you turn into such a shity company. Disgusted with you at this point.
In Bookmark folders, newest items should appear at the top, not at the bottom, when added. A much better workflow for adding what's new, then sorting later. If not default, please, Google, at least make this an option!
User Alexander Kapincev's solution, Booklyst, is somewhat usable. It will leave your bookmarks untouched but gives you an additional vue of clickable bookmarks month by month in a new browser tab.
I had been searching through my History for over an hour looking for something I read 2 weeks ago and had bookmarked ... Booklyst had me there in 30 seconds flat! Thank you.
