I understand your frustration. It can be annoying when your default search engine keeps changing.

There are a few reasons why your Chrome might be changing to Yahoo. One possibility is that you have an extension installed that is changing your default search engine. Another possibility is that you have malware on your computer that is changing your default search engine.

To fix the problem, you can try the following steps:

1. **Check for extensions that might be changing your default search engine.**

    * Open Chrome.
    * Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the window.
    * Select "More tools" > "Extensions."
    * Look for any extensions that you don't recognize or that you don't need.
    * To disable an extension, simply uncheck the box next to it.
    * To uninstall an extension, click the Remove button.

2. **Scan your computer for malware.**

    * You can use a free antivirus program to scan your computer for malware.
    * If you find any malware, remove it immediately.

3. **Reset your default search engine.**

    * Open Chrome.
    * Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the window.
    * Select "Settings."
    * Scroll down to the "Search engine" section and click on "Manage search engines."
    * Under "Search engines," find Google and make sure that it is set as your default search engine.
    * Click on the "Set as default" button.

If you've tried all of the above and your Chrome is still changing to Yahoo, you can contact Google Chrome support for help.

TL;DR:
  • Check malicious extensions
  • Scan malwares on your device
  • Reset Chrome after clearing browsing data.

Just to make things easy. Regards :)
