Sending feedback is important, as the logs will help engineers identify issues and pain points.
You should send a feedback report to the developers. Follow these steps.
Report an issue or send feedback on Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More (3 dots).
- Click Help.
- Report an Issue
- Add details, including steps,, to help us recreate the issue you're experiencing. Include any screenshot that will help.
- Choose if you want to include more information in your report, like a web address, your email address, or a screenshot.
Please note you will not usually hear back from the developers, but they do read all feedback reports
You should also post in crbug.
You can track your feedback report by clicking on the link below
When the page opens, click on View Your Feedback.

The share link module of the share button had been removed by the chrome group in version 112. It seems to me that the chrome groups maybe think that this feature is used by relatively few people.

Just now, I read your answer, and I think your answer is correct, same as mine. As you said, you frequently used ChromeOS, and some features of chrome on ChromeOS may be updated slower than on Windows.
On Chrome, How to Reset Browser
First, you need to back up your chrome data to your device using these steps.
You can export and download personal information you store in your Google Account sent through Chrome's sync feature. You can download data that hasn't been deleted. You can create an archive to preserve for your records or use the data in another service. Learn how to download your data.
Reset your browser settings
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More
Settings.
- Select Reset settings
Restore settings to their original defaults
Reset settings.
