Chrome - Unresponsive white screen
I rebooted my Macbook Pro Feb 22 and Chrome stopped working. It had been working just fine before.
Since it stopped working, it displays a white screen with no error messages.
It doesn't even try to load webpages. Just unresponsive. I signed out of my profile because it seemed like there could be a glitch with the profile. That didn't help, and now I also can't log back into my chrome account. It's like it has no internet connection - although Firefox and Safari work just fine.
Here's what I've tried:
- I've uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled chrome many times
- I've used Appcleaner to delete Chrome completely
- I've run Malwarebytes
- I've tried to reset default settings under the preferences (this doesn't even complete the action. It just spins and spins until I exit out)
- I've updated from Yosemite to High Sierra
I'm so frustrated because I can't sign into my Chrome account - and I can't access my bookmarks.
I can't think of anything else I can do to troubleshoot this situation.
