how can I get the menu bar back on the top of the page, I need the "File" "Edit" View" "Favorites" 'Tools" "Help" options back on there

Since the first Google Chrome version, there is no "File", "Edit, "Window",... menubar.
It was the wrench icon and page icon, and then the hamburger icon. That is now the 3 dots icon.
However, I created also a Chrome extension to get this kind of menu back. See on the Chrome web store for Proper Menubar.

Everything you need is in the 3 dots menu.
However, you can search for a Chrome extension in the Chrome web store if you want something specific about bookmarks or need a toolbar, or menubar.
