Everything was working fine until i updated chrome. My other computer had already updated to the newest version of google chrome and it started to freeze and pixelate during video playback on Xfinity stream website using flash in chrome. My main computer was on an older version of chrome and after it updated and restarted it's now happening on this computer as well.

Same thing happened here.

It only does this with On Demand items and then only with the quality on High. Set to Low it is fuzzy, but does not break up. I have not yet tried it with other Flash items since I think Xfinity is currently the only site I go to that uses Flash.

I actually have problems with EVERY video since version 78. Any website containing videos, including YouTube, just freezes. In some cases the audio plays in background while the video is dead still, but in most they simply won't work and freeze the page (or the app using the Chrome engine, like Epic Games Launcher).
I have tried purging all data and switching off the hardware acceleration but neither solved the issue.

Same problem here. Signal from Xfinity OnDemand breaks up/pixelates using Chrome browser. Started about three days ago. Works fine with MS Edge.

Same problem here.  Thought it was an xfinity problem because other sites worked fine.  When I had my husband look at the problem he found it was just the xfinity site with chrome.  Now I have to use edge to use xfinity.  Wish chrome would fix the problem.

Unfortunately that fix did nothing for me. Had to switch to Firefox to stream. Xfinity has us scrambling and patching things as we go. Very frustrating. Flash is not supported by IE any longer either. So much for the technology age.
