"Aw Snap" Crash on every page I try to open in Google Chrome.
0
When I open a google chrome tab, I get the "Aw Snap" crash error. Even when I click the 3 dots on the top right to go into the settings, any option I click will lead to another "Aw Snap" crash error. I have tried restarting my laptop, chrome, reinstalling, and checking for malware. All other recommendations for fixes require me to use the chrome menu, which as I said, I can't even use without receiving another crash error.

My temp work around was to roll back to ver 76 and disable the update file ... not a great work around of course.

I have 2 users with this issue and it started today. I have done the same as above with the addition of using revo uninstaller, trying the beta, trying on another account on the same computer, all continue to result in the aw snap.

The workaround I found is if you put it in compatibility mode it will work.

Had the same with multiple clients as well today.
Tried uninstalling, Revo uninstaller ending up factory resetting the machine and it worked until the user signed into Google then the error came straight back.
Could be an issue with an add on or extension either way i haven't found a way to fix it yet.

How do you roll back the version?
