I just upgraded Mac to Catalina..I have a home server that has services that I access on https. It is a home linux server that uses self-signed certificates. However, I no longer can access: NET::ERR_CERT_REVOKED. I have attempted to re-import the certificate, and that doesn't work.

I just opened it up in another browser and it worked.
I used Safari instead of my default browser which is Chrome.

Here's the fix!!! As of 10/21/19 the bypass word is "thisisunsafe"

Once you get to the page that says "Your connection is not private" click somewhere on the page and then blindly type the following thisisunsafe

This will instantly bypass the warning. Please don't do this on sites you don't trust.

Just tried the thisisunsafe work-around and it really works, thanks a lot!!
In the meantime, I also found some people that explain the real reason:

Apple decided to further tighten the security around SSL with Catalina,
the certificates have more requirements

OMG ... seriously? how did you find that solution? must be a Google tech! LOL ... yes, it worked! Thank you.

Okay, the root cause is the certificate requirement changes in Catalina.  And, I'll have to rebuild (my thankfully small) private CA and its certificates.

GOOGLE, if you are listening: Safari presents a rational error message: "certificate is not standards compliant."  Why does Chrome say "certificate revoke" and send us on a wild goose chase!?

Google, you should fix this!

I am just surprised how do people even find these kind of solutions.
