Google Chrome Beta not working

I have tried uninstalling and downloading a new copy of exe file and nothing. I cannot visit any website, clear cache since settings are unavailable (also an error page) and submitting an error option is a black screen, everything is an error.

Hi there,

Do a hard reset of your Google Chrome web browser.

Follow the steps here below to uninstall Google Chrome:

1. Go to your software list, and uninstall Google Chrome from the list

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uninstall-change-program#uninstall-change-program=windows-7

2. Go to this location:

C:\Users\YOUNAME\AppData\Local\Google\

C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\

3. And delete that "Chrome" folder (for both location, if there is a Chrome folder)

4. Restart your computer

5. Install the stable Google Chrome version from www.google.com/chrome

Thanks Stefan. The issue is with Google BETA. The regular chrome is fine. I use beta because it works best on most sites, but now nothing works on it. I will stop trying to use beta and stick to the original chrome since there doesn't seem to be a fix for BETA version. Thanks again.

Hi there,

Beta is good for testing and building the next thing for the web (such as websites, Chrome extension PWA apps, etc).

You can try to delete only the "Chrome beta" folder. So it will reset the complete settings for that Chrome beta version.
