[solved] Chrome Remote Desktop from Linux to Windows - keyboard layout

I'm using CRD to connect from Linux Ubuntu 20 to Windows 10 and Windows 11 hosts. On client and hosts german keyboard layout is configured, but when connecting to hosts only us keyboard layout seems to be used, so z switched with y for example.
when connecting with android app or between both windows machines everything works as expected, so something seems wrong with Linux configuration or some kind of bug in Linux version of CRD!? Any help much appreciated.

Issue is now gone on my computer, without changing anything.

I have the exact same issue, for some reason connecting to my windows machine I end up with a keyboard layout that isn't the one I'm using.

It is really annoying and the issue is only when doing RDP Linux -> Win and not the other way around
