I just downloaded the new Chrome version and the 3 dots icon is missing to access the settings command.  Alt F does nothing also. Please advise.
Thanks!

Dear All,
I found a conflict using the safari app with the chrome browser.

I switched everything over to Chrome and the settings Icon has returned.

Thanks.

You 3 dots icon is changed in the 'green circle with an arrow'. That means you must take an action in your Chrome web browser (such as deny/allow the installation of that Chrome extension, or restart your Chrome web browser, etc).
To solve your problem, just click on that green icon. And follow the steps in that menu.

Thanks,
Stefan

I was scratching my head looking for the usual 3 dots.  When I clicked on a red circle containing an exclamation mark (top right corner), bingo! The drop-down menu is identical to the 3 dots I was used to.  No idea how that happened.  But it works for me.  I hope this helps.

Thanks Kweli Nzito.  Pretty simple once you know.  It is horrible that changes like this happen with no reason or notification.  I spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out what happened.  Still don't know what happened but  thanks to your post I at least found a solution.  Kinda like the changes that happen when you update the ISO version on you Iphone, pain in the butt!

I have the same issue where the 3 dot icon is missing. Pressing ALT- F does reveal the settings menus but I would like to regain it on the menu bar. I also don't have a red/green circle/icon? I have my round profile icon that has my picture but it does nothing other than provide access to my Google account or change my profile picture.

Same issue, but in EDGE browser.  3-DOT icon far right upper corner went missing one day ago.  However, can touch area where 3-DOT icon is missing and pull down menu opens.  See screenshot, red marker points to area of missing 3-DOT icon. Help please!  Many kind thanks.
