Google Chrome is susceptible to the DLL hijacking issue

Google Chrome version (type about:version into the address bar): 5.0.375.127
Operating System: Windows 7 x64
Error Message: The program can't start because avutil-50.dll is missing from your system...
Extensions installed: None

Please describe your question/comment in detail (for example, steps to reproduce the problem): I applied the hotfix from Microsoft to prevent CWD being part of the DLL search path, because I want to prevent DLL hijacking by malware. In doing so, I now get the above mentioned error from Google Chrome with every new tab (although it appears to keep working after the error message.) This means the Google Chrome is vulnerable to DLL hijacking, and should be fixed ASAP to prevent users from be attacked by malware via Chrome.

He has been promoting his own site in each of his posts. That would not be bad in itself if the answers provided in this forum are useful specifically to the original query.
