Chrome repeatly crashes since I updated to v24.xxx

Chrome Version (type about:version into your omnibox):
Operating System (Windows 7/8/Vista/XP, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS):w7 ultimate
Extensions (type Chrome:extensions into your omnibox):?

Ever since I updated Chrome from v23... to v24... I am unable to use Chrome. It seems to crash whenever a call to the web is needed. Is anyone else experiencing this or know what I can do? I have already uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled a fresh copy from the web with the same results.

Whoa! Google Chrome has crashed. Relaunch now?

When I get the message "Google Chrome did not shut down properly. To reopen the pages you had open, click restore"

The restore area is not responsive to my key press

Thanks for your help

Levels

Member levels indicate a user's level of participation in a forum. The greater the participation, the higher the level. Everyone starts at level 1 and can rise to level 10. These activities can increase your level in a forum:

  • Post an answer.
  • Having your answer selected as the best answer.
  • Having your post rated as helpful.
  • Vote up a post.
  • Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.

Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
