Chrome sync keeps pausing and asking me to re-sign-in

Every time I open chrome, there's a blue arrow circle that says that sync is paused and that I need to sign in again. So I sign in again, and it asks me the same thing again the next time I use it. How do I fix?

Hello,

I have found this work-around

In the affected Chrome account, open a blank tab and type the following:
  1. chrome://flags/#account-consistency
  2. In the drop-down box on the right, choose "disable."
  3. Now, relaunch the browser.
NOTE:
  • Chrome Flags are Experimental Features
  • Please check out Chrome's Flag disclaimer before continuing.
  • Kindly type the following in Chrome omnibox to view the disclaimer: chrome://flags/
Best,
Ms. Drasby

Yes! YES! This is what I found a few hours ago while still searching for an answer. I followed that step and it seems to have solved the issue entirely! For anyone else struggling with this issue, I recommend this answer @Ms. Drasby

Hey Mt Drasby,

thank you for your support. I already found this workaround in another thread, unfortunately it does not work for me :/

This really works "IMHO, Google's cookies are used for automatic user login at Chrome (or Chrome app) startup. I simply white-listed "accounts.google.com" and that's it."

Thanks Wolfgang Riss!!!!
