How to access tools? Wrench doesn't work.

I'm trying to get to ''tools'' to solve this IncrediMail problem but when I click the wrench, nothing happens...and I don't see any three-bar icon. I don't see anyway to access Chrome...IncrediMail just overrides everything. Help?
Thanks!

Hi

The three bar icon is located on the top right of chrome
It looks like the image given

To disable any extensions go to chrome://chrome/extensions/

and disable from there

Thanks :)

I think he said that he's actually got a wrench and not a ≡ menu button

Yifnif, if you've still got a wrench / spanner icon then your copy of chrome is several months out of date. This might not be helping with your problems.
You say nothing happens when  you click on it. Does anything happen if you hold down Alt key and press F ?
The menu should pop down and you can use the cursor keys and enter to select the menu. Find extensions to get rid of incredimail, and choose "about chrome" to run the update check.

You may be also suffering from a problem where Chrome treats your left click as a middle click. If this is the case, when you left click a tab it would close. Does this happen to you?

Hi Jinu
Thank you. I was able to find it and activate it...and I was able to delete the IncrediMail My Start extension from the list...but the program remains on my computer. I also went to the IncrediMail support page many times. I followed all the steps to uninstall and received the ''congratulations you have uninstalled this program'' message. But then I restart the computer and it's still here. I removed the program from files...I removed the Perion folder...I can't think of anything else so I'm going to have to take my computer in to repair. I've emailed and tweeted the company IncrediMail many times but they won't help. Anyway, thank you for your kind message.

Hi Again

Is your chrome Hi jacked by incrediMail toolbar?

So now what is the problem with Incredi mail? is it hijacking your default search engine?

Go to chrome://chrome/settings/

if you have already removed incredi mail extension from chrome://chrome/extensions/, Click on Open new tab page in the section "on start up".

also check for incredi mail tool bar in installed softwares list of control panel, if its there then uninstall it.

Thanks :)

Hi Jinu
There are a few problems.
When I open Google Chrome, I get the MyStart page instead.
When I open Firefox instead, I get the IncrediMail toolbar.
Yes, it is hijacking my default search engine...it seems.
I have removed all MyStart and IncrediMail and Perion programs, extensions, etc. and restarted numerous times.
I just received a reply via email from IncrediMail support. They told me I could solve the problem by clicking a link in their email to me and the link was of course broken.
I've just now done what you suggested above (Click on Open new tab page in the section "on start up") and so I'll restart and see if that has helped. Otherwise
I think I'm going to just have to live with this problem...I can't spend any more time trying to fix it. I really appreciate your time and generous help!

Hi Jinu
Guess what? Your last suggestion seems to have solved the problem!!!
My Chrome now seems free of IncrediMail.
Their toolbar still appears when I open Firefox but I can live with that.a
THANK YOU!
