Windows 7 google update installation failed with error 0x8004071c

i found a 'solution' for vista/XP but nothing for windows 7, i've just installed windows 7 (clean install and fully updated)
 
for vista:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\State
 
is that HKLM_CURRENT_USER ?
