Android Chrome Beta problem with default search language

Hey,

Just updated my Galaxy S2 to Android 4.0.3 and installed Chrome Beta. Since I live in South Korea, any search I type into the omnibox returns search results from www.google.co.kr when what I really want is searches from google.ca or google.com

Interestingly, when I make the same search from the google search widget on chrome, it returns results from www.google.com.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, because except for this minor problem I love chrome on my phone. Thanks!

Hi SMartin,

Your search settings are tied to the location where you first installed and ran Chrome. Currently, it's not possible to adjust the language or country domain. This is a known issue in the current version, and we are working on a fix.

As a workaround, go to Android Settings > Apps > Chrome > Clear Data to reset your location. (Note: Enable Sync first to keep your browser settings.)
