Are you sure you want to open 15 tabs?

I open more than 15 tabs frequently. In a very non-stylistic fashion (very not Chrome like) Chrome asks the question:

"Are you sure you want to open 15 tabs?"

Thanks for your attention.

There is no way to disable that yet...

This seems to break the ethos that Chrome has. If you watch the promotional video:

Go to 16:58 you will see "No Modal Dialog". Well this dialog is definitely modal.

I'm really surprised there isn't a "don't show this again" checkbox on that pop-up. Not to mention the lack of an informative message or pop-up name. Very bad UI.

I would really like to disable this feature as well, I open a group of about 15 tabs several times a day and the convenience of being able to do this is really lessened by the fact that I have to interact with a dialogue every time.

This is an important thing to fix. It's the main reason I am still looking for a new browser.

This is a remnant of the old-style browsers, (features from Firefox for example, that existed for some time), used to prevent people's computers from crashing b/c of opening too many tabs.

Chrome/Chromium developers probably didn't give it too much thought, but with today's computing style and power, this component does need some work.  I believe Chrome developers should allow people to set a specific folder of bookmarks as "Safe" to open together on a regular basis.

I also open more than 15 tabs quite frequently. I hope that the devs will fix this in a future patch. I'm sure it is a very quick and easy fix!

Still no fix 4 months later? Oh well.
I used to say Microsoft made decisions for us (albeit lousy ones).
Now the Chrome staff is doing the same thing. Where did the limit of 15 come from? Why can't we pick our own number. Someone might want 6 (yeah, I saw the app). Someone else might want 20 or 25.

Add me to the list of someone with a 15+ tab set that is annoyed by this popup. Minimally we should be able to customize the number of tabs that will trigger this warning dialog, or mark our own bookmark folders as 'safe' as a previous poster mentioned. Poor usability to hard code a number in that can, and has, grown obsolete.
