Disable "chrome is out of date" popup

Hi there, anybody here knows how to completely disable and hide the "chrome is out of date" pop-up is appearing in my touchscreen?
I'm running chrome in kiosk mode, and the message should not be shown.
Thanks in advance!

Hello Antoni Altés!

Welcome to Google Chrome Help Forum and Thank you for posting! I'm sorry you've had such a bad experience. I'd like to try and help.

It's better to update your Google Chrome. This will help your Chrome to run properly.

Hi John. Thanks for your reply!

I'm sure Chrome would update if the computer had access to the internet, but touchscreen is installed in a remote space, without connectivity to LAN or Internet, so Chrome will never update.

I need to find the way to completely hide the pop-up.

Hello Antoni Altés!

Thank you for letting me know and I'm sorry if you're still running on the same issue. I've already shared this concern with the Community Managers and other Chrome Experts for further assistance. I'll get back to you as soon as I get any updates. We will reach you out if we need additional information.

Thank you so much!

Hi Antoni,

You should be able to hide this warning by disabling updates. Just be aware that turning off auto-updates should be done with caution. You will not receive the latest security updates if you don't update Chrome manually.

First, download Chrome's administrative template here, then:

1. Navigate to Start > Run: gpedit.msc.
Navigate to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates.
Right-click Administrative Templates, and select Add/Remove Templates.
Add the chrome.adm template via the dialog. (Extract all the files in the zip you just downloaded, then select windows > adm > en-US > chrome.adm
Once complete, a Google / Google Chrome folder will appear under Administrative Templates if it's not already there. If you added the ADM template on Windows 7, it will appear under Classic Administrative Templates / Google / Google Chrome

2. Navigate to Administrative Templates > Google > Google Update > Applications > Google Chrome.

Modify the Update policy override property as shown.
Let us know how this works for you!
