DarpehHi Liam. On a hunch I decided to try disabling hardware acceleration in chrome's advanced settings, and... it worked!

Natalie WongHello there, Liam Fischback -
Thanks for writing in to the Chrome Browser Forum - welcome!
Let's try and narrow down the issue by following these first steps.
- Please check if you have this same issue on other browsers, such as Firefox, Opera and/or Internet Explorer.
- Please clarify if you've noticed this behavior across all your websites, or only with particular websites.
- Try running these sites via Google Chrome in Incognito Mode. This will temporarily disable your current extensions in case there is a faulty one in there that is interfering with your user experience (Ctrl+Shift+N is the shortcut).
Please let me know what you find in these different scenarios.
Cheers,
Natalie R. W.

Liam FischbackThanks for getting back to me so quickly Natalie. Sorry I should have posted that I've tried the other browsers and they do not have any text rendering/display problems. I've tried several websites and all have the blurry/fuzzy text problem in Chrome only. I hadn't tried the incognito mode but did that and the problem remained. Also I've tried the clear text with windows, disabling the high dpi thing in the compatability tab, and even uninstalling and reinstalling... nothing is working.

ross whetterHi Liam,
A few people have posted this issue recently and have found than updating to chrome 37 beta fixes the issue. https://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/chrome/browser/beta.html
I also had this issue on 37 beta and found that downgrading to 36 fixed my issue.
Be warned that there are still some bugs in version 37 beta and downgrading in the future will cause some issues, such as you won't be able to use saved passwords, although if you encounter this I can send you a solution.
Hope this helps.
Ross

Clint H.I'm having the same problem as Liam. I've updated to Chrome 37 with no luck and also installed Canary with the same results. I will say that had installed Canary a month or so ago and uninstalled it because it was making the text blurry as the release, beta and Canary are now. Firefox and IE show clear text. Incognito is no good either.
Thank you for any help or solution.
Clint

Liam FischbackRoss, I've tried upgrading to 37 beta... no dice... This is only an issue that is in Chrome. It's sad because I love google products but if I keep having to "decypher" (a little exageration) web pages I'm going to have to switch to firefox... or IE... YUCK!!!!
