Need people to confirm scroll bug

I've been having a bug (which I've reported) that breaks scrolling for a while now.

Steps to repeat:

1) Scroll once
2) Very quickly after / during, middle click anywhere to activate mouse auto-scrolling

Result:

Auto-scroll stops functioning after half a second.

TL;DR: If you activate the auto-scrolling to quickly after mouse wheel scrolling, it makes the auto-scroll break after a short time (half a second-ish).

Does anyone else get this?

Chrome Version 66.0.3359.117 is full of bugs. Random black boxes appear all over the screen when I scroll up and down. Please see the attached screenshots.

Help me please.

Thanks for confirming Robin, are you part of the Chrome team? There doesn't seem to be anything on your profile that would indicate that. If so, any news on this?

Hey @Koushik,

Thanks for your reply.

Could you please create an own forum post for this issue, so we can clarify this separately.

Meanwhile, please try to disable Hardware acceleration:
  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More [≡] > Settings.
  3. At the bottom, click Advanced.
  4. Scroll down to the "System" section.
  5. And disable "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Thanks,
Robin Rpr.
