GIF go white and videos go black (9gag,facebook,youtube)

Hello,
          All GIFs on 9gag are turning white immediately as they start.
          All videos on facebook are black unless i click on HD.
          Sometimes even youtube videos turn black.

          I fixed it for a very short while by clearing the cache and disabling PPAPI from Adobe Flash Player in chrome://plugins. Now nothing works..

Can you try some basic troubleshooting steps and let me know how it goes?

Can you try it in Incognito mode?
Sometimes extensions can mess up your Chrome browser.
If it works in incognito, then there is a high percentage chance that it is an extension issue.
  • Click on the Chrome menu > New Incognito Window.
    For more information on Incognito mode, check out this blog post!
Disable or delete extensions that you've installed.
As stated above in the Incognito section, sometimes extensions can cause issues to Chrome.  You can disable/delete extensions and test out Chrome to see if that improved the situation.
  • To disable an extension, type in the omnibox: chrome://extensions > select the extension(s) that you wish to disable > uncheck the checkbox next to their name. 
    See this blog post on how to disable an extension. 
  • To delete an extension, type in the omnibox: chrome://extensions > select the extension(s) that you wish to delete > click the trashcan icon to delete the selected extension(s).
    For more information on this matter, see this blog post.
Test it out on another browser.
If Chrome is the only browser having issues, then it's most likely a Chrome issue.
But, if Internet Explorer and Firefox (for example) are having the same issue(s), then it's probably not a Chrome issue.
  • How does Internet Explorer (IE) do? 
  • How does Firefox do?
  • Got another browser? Test that browser and let me know how it does!
Try it on Chrome Guest mode.
It browsing in Guest mode is alright, then you may have a corrupted Chrome user profile
  • In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the button for the current user. It may show your name, email, or an icon like thisSign in
  • Top-right corner of the browser window > click the button for the current user (icon looks like this: Sign in) > select Switch person > Browse as guest.
    For more info on Guest browsing, see this help page.
Delete cache and other browsing data!
The more you use Chrome, the more information is stored on your Chrome browser. And if you don't do something with that information, over time, it could slow down Chrome, for example. It's best (for troubleshooting) to delete cache, cookies, and other browsing data!
  • Click on the Chrome menu > Tools > select Clear browsing data.
    For more information on clearing browsing data, check out this help article.
Reset browser settings.
Sometimes, just a simple reset of your Chrome browser settings will fix the issue.
  • Open the Chrome Menu > select settings > at the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings > Reset browser settings.
    For more information on resetting browser settings, see this blog post.

Incognito mode has the same issue.

I also tried to delete all cache, cookies and other browsing data, sign out of my account (so nothing was left, no extensions nothing), reset settings and it did not work.

I tried guest mode as well and had the same issue.

About other browsers, I actually forgot to mention this, but there is no issue with other browsers. I tried Internet Explorer and Opera (have not got Firefox yet but I guess it will work since IE and O are fine).

Lastly, I tried uninstalling and re-installing Chrome, but I did that while I was logged in so it installed with everything (extensions etc.). I will try to do it while I'm not signed in.

I guess since last time I made it work by disabling a plug-in that there would be the issue (at Flash, Shockwave somewhere); maybe I have a bad version of those.

I have attached a .doc file with all my plug-ins. I think something is wrong there.

Hmm.
I did notice on that quick time extension, it says "download critical update" Can you do that and let me know how it goes?

I did download that quick time, but it only says that I have the latest version and it does not install anything.

Razine

Razine članstva označavaju razinu sudjelovanja na forumu. Što više netko sudjeluje, na višoj je razini. Svi počinju na 1. razini i mogu napredovati do 10. razine. Ove aktivnosti mogu povisiti vašu razinu na forumu:

  • objavljivanje odgovora
  • odabir vašeg odgovora kao najboljeg
  • ocjena vašeg posta kao korisnog
  • dodjeljivanje pozitivnog glasa postu
  • ispravno označavanje teme ili posta zbog zloupotrebe.

Ako se post korisnika označi i ukloni zbog zloupotrebe, korisnik će sporije napredovati po razinama.
