Black Boxes and Glitches in Chrome

Hi,

I have had black rectangular boxes and such appearing on websites and sometimes it just glitches and I see pieces of part of the page where it shouldn't be, like blocks on sections over other content or to the side. This is really frustrating and I can't uninstall and download google chrome because my internet explorer won't even open so I won't have a way to get chrome again.

Sorry to hear about the issue you are having with chrome. I recommend you read and try what is suggested in this help article titled: Page content doesn't display correctly, If that doesn;t help then I would recommend Reset browser settings and Create a new browser user profile

Let me know your results or if you have questions.

Well, before I try creating a new browser user profile I would like to mention that a few weeks ago I changed some settings with chrome that changed out it was compatible with my computer so the scroll bar in the browser would work. I don't know if that could cause or is the cause of the issue.

I will be the first to gripe and moan about problems, and this certainly was one. Not anymore. . .

Originally NONE of the suggested fixes worked. Tried an assortment of this and that, but nothing worked. All the research tools at my disposal clearly indicated that the issue was solely the problem of Google Chrome.

That said, those annoying little black boxes have mysteriously vanished into cyberspace.

I have not had a black box issue for the better part of 2-months now. Did nothing, changed nothing, they just stopped appearing.

Dare I say thanks Google? Shhhhhhh . . . We might awaken the dreaded sleeping black boxes.
