Show full history is blank!

I am using the latest Chrome 2.0.172.31.
When I click to go the Show full history, the page is blank!
However, I am able to search through the history though!
In the past, I have always been able to view pages of history.
What has gone wrong? Where does Chrome store the history index anyway?

How did you get the History page?  Hit Ctrl + h to show the history page.

Here are different ways to see webpages that you visited

I can get to the History page. My point is that instead of displaying the last 10 weeks' history, mine is empty!
I can still find past web sites accessed by typing in search so I know that Chrome has stored them somewhere...but where?
So what's missing is the actual history list that I used to see!

Your search may be getting websites from address bar.  If you click new tab + icon, will you get Most Visited thumbnails?

Are you using the incognito window to view webpages?  Incognito mode will not record history.

I am using Chrome 5.0.375.125 and have the same problem.

I get the same results via ctrl-h, the full full history link on a new tab or wrench / history.

I am not using an incognito window.

Broadus, check if an extension is causing the problem. Disabe all extensions and test. Then add one by one until you find the culprit.

I disabled all extensions and restarted Chrome, but still no history.  Last night, I uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome, but still no history.

Broadus, then your history file in your profile is corrupt. Back up your bookmarks, and then create a new profile. See reference below.

Thanks.  After I posted the last remark, I uninstalled Chrome and cleared all browsing data.  When I reinstalled Chrome, my old history was there.  I lost my theme and bookmarks for a few moments until I turned sync back on.  I am back with history, bookmarks and theme.  No extensions at the moment, but I know how to fix that.
