Hey Tharwat,

Can you provide some more detail? What version are you trying to install? What's your operating system? Does the installation quit immediately? Does it seem like it's progressing but stops at some point? Is there a 'Help me fix this' type of link?

The more information you can provide, the better someone can assist you.

Had the same problem, installed using the full installer.
Full installer available at: http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Google-Chrome-Download-108166.html
I had also faced this problem now solved.
The solution is just download Chrome stup file from CNET popular website www.download.com
If you want to go direct on download page than just go to this address
Same problem...Fresh WinXP machine w/ SP3 and all the relevant updates, ATI drivers, and SB drivers. Everything else is 'bone stock' as it were.
Installer from download.com worked for me as well.

Hey everyone,

Thank you very much for reporting this. We've found the problem and pushed a fix so that you should now be able to install Google Chrome from the link in my references.

Please let me know if you continue to have this problem.

I do not have much time to tell you the reason of the error.. but simply copy the file into the c: or d: directly without folders and run.... voilaaa!!..

That was exactly what I had to do. By default it downloaded to My Downloads in My Documents. I copied it over to D drive and voila! It installs!
