An unexpected error occurred. Please report this problem to the developers

I am attempting to use Remote Desktop to access a co-workers computer.  On both of our computers, when we click the "Share" button we get the error "An unexpected error occurred.  Please report this problem to the developers".  There doesn't seem to be a known fix for this from my searching.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the remote desktop software with no luck.  Also tried logging out and back in to chrome and rebooting my computer.

Windows 7
Chrome Version 43.0.2357.124 m

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks Tai,

I can't find out how to get Javascript logs from Chrome Remote Desktop.  I am able to open the console (ctl+shift+j) in the apps tab, but once I click the CRD app it opens in a new screen and the javascript console doesn't log what the CRD is doing.

Is there a different way to get the javascript logs from CRD?

Hey BradPhillips921,

To get the javascript logs, please try opening the console unit in the Chrome Remote Desptop App/Extension page using Shift+Ctrl+J before connecting. If you're already connected, right-click on the blue tool-bar and select inspect element, then select the Console tab.

Pressing Shift+Ctrl+J while in CRD does nothing.  There also is no blue tool bar to right-click on (see attached screenshot).  I can get the console open in the apps selection screen of Google Chrome.  But once I select CRD it closes the tab where the console is open.

I am able to get remote desktop to work when I log out of my Google Apps for Business account and log in to my personal Gmail account.  Is this some limitation with Google Apps for Business? I am the admin of Google Apps for Business so I can change settings if needed.

Note our company name has changed from BPW Insurance Group to Phillips Stafford Insurance Group. Please make any updates necessary on your end.
