Hi AliReza21,

Thanks for posting on the Google Chrome Help Forum.

Could you please check if the issue persists on Chrome Stable?

Also, could you please let me know if the issue persists on a different device or browser? Do you face the issue on a particular website or across websites?

Meanwhile, please give the below steps a try and check if that makes a difference:

Let me know how it goes.

Best,
Matt

Honestly the new video player is so ridiculously bad I just completely turned off the google updates, uninstalled chrome and downloaded v66. Never going to update from this point on probably.

And I'm always annoyed with companies trying to change things that are perfectly working. Why try to fix when its not broken?

Also I should note that I had this issue as well, 64bit Win7.

I am using Chrome 67 stable (when I posted this topic there wasn't any chrome 67 stable in "which version of chrome" section), I tested this on my windows 10 pc, and its same as my mac, and it's also was a fresh install, no extension or any chrome flags enabled.

Same here. Chrome 67 (64bit) on Windows 7 (64bit).
The new skin is better, but whoever thought the new layout was a good idea is completely incompetent. This reddit thread sums it up pretty well.

Go kill yourself, Matt.  How do you dare to instruct Ali to delete their cookies, cache, and browser settings in a futile attempt to affect a planned, designed change by those you serve?  Do you have any notion of the implications of following your instruction, or are anonymous users simply not persons to you?  Why are you alive?  What is your function?

Thank you, Maxime Muller, for the Reddit link.  Redditor zpuck provided Google Chrome's solution directly to this specific problem there:

Go to "chrome://flags/".

Disable "New Media Controls".

Restart.

Now, the intuitive integration of an entire Google Chrome version restore option besides would be nice/a consumer imperative without which organized substitution of FireFox is merited.

Good luck, Ali!

Good idea to post the workaround here. I feel kinda stupid for not doing it in the first place ^^
