Issues with searchnu?

Hi, how come NO ONE can really help with REMOVING this search engine Hijacker?

Google must already know about this...it's on Chrome!!! :(

I've got it as well. I managed to remove it from most of my computer, but here's the rub;
 
I uninstalled Google and reinstalled. Twice. Both times, before syncing with my Google Account, there was no issue. The minute I synced it with my Google account, Searchnu was back.
 
It's not in my settings as my home page nor an acceptable search engine. Somehow, my account's gotten infected, and I can't/won't use Chrome with this issue. :/

Go to Wrench > Settings > Search > Manage Search Engines.   Can you delete it?  Is there an X to the right of it?

Try right clicking your desktop icon, i found that mine had the startpage link in target under properties
