unable to load comcast.net smart zone

Can not load www.comcast.net, I have been using Chrome to access Comcast's Smart Zone (primarily for email) but today when I attempt it the address flips back and forth between address that happens so fast I can't read the addresses (the one address is www.comcast.net/tt) and just continues to flip until I close the tab. Both IE and Mozilla have no problems displaying the Smart Zone page.
Google Chrome version (type about:version into the address bar): 5.0.375.70
Operating System:Vista

Extensions installed: NPR, RealPlayer HTML5Video Downloader Extension - Version: 1.1

I have the same issue. My operating system is XP Media edition. Same chrome version. No extensions.
The URL goes to www.comcast.net\tt then flashes to something long and https.
Page loads fine with IE7.

I have the same problem on two computers, both running Windows XP home. It started after the last set of Microsoft security updates on June 9 & 10. Hope that helps someone with more computer savvy than me.

Same here... Started 9 June... and has affected at least 3 of the PCs I access... Apparently it's all on MS...

Same problem here, using Windows 7, after installing Microsoft security updates yesterday morning. You can open comcast in an incognito window of Chrome --someone posted that, see: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Chrome/thread?tid=222b850a70273ec0&hl=en
So that is a temporary solution.

Can you access comcast.com with Firefox or Safari?  What version of Chrome are you using?

Backing out the June 9 security updates is also a workaround.

My problem started before I installed the latest MS updates. I tried using the incognito window and can get in that way, at least for now. I've reported the problem to Comcast. I can access my email through IE but prefer Chrome so the incognito solution works for me right now, anyway.

I have the same problem and symptoms using Chrome 5.0.375.70 under XP on all three of my PCs. IE and Mozilla work.
 
What also works is using Chrome incognito. Thank you wieber1 !!!

Having same problem with http://www.comcast.net/comcast.html, looks like a Google problem because the other browsers aren't having problems and appears to come from MS updates.

I have to disagree...just logged in using Google Chrome 8.0.552.237 (to comcast.com, then selected email, and logged in to Smart Zone from there), and I had no problems. Now, I am using an Apple (MacBook Pro, to be exact!), so that might make the difference...but I'm not sure on that. If you are still having issues using Chrome, then use the browser your system shipped with (Windows-Explorer; Apple-Safari; Linux-Firefox) and log in to comast.com, then email, then change your preferences from there, and try again with Chrome. As I said, I am not having problems logging in using Chrome (latest version) on an Apple.
