Search the web on Chrome

You can quickly find what you’re looking for on the Internet, in your bookmarks, and in your browsing history.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app .
2. In the address bar at the top, enter what you want to search for.
3. Tap a result or tap Go.

Search by voice

Above the keyboard or on a new page, tap Microphone .

Search with a QR code or barcode

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app .
2. At the top, tap the address bar.
3. Above your keyboard, tap Scan .
4. Position the QR code or barcode in the highlighted box. When it works, you'll see a code entered in the address bar.
5. Tap Go.

Search a webpage

You can find a specific word or phrase on a webpage.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app .
2. On the webpage, tap More  Find in Page .
3. At the top left, enter what you want to search for. Matching words will be highlighted in yellow and orange.
4. When you find what you were searching for, tap Done.
