You can quickly find what you’re looking for on the Internet, in your bookmarks, and in your browsing history. A Chrome feature might not be available if your default search engine doesn't support it.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome

- In the address bar at the top, enter what you want to search for.
- Tap a result or tap Go.
Above the keyboard or on a new page, tap Microphone .
You can find a specific word or phrase on a web page.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome
.
- On the page, tap More
Find in Page…
.
- Enter your search term.
- Matching words are highlighted. The currently selected match is highlighted with a yellow background.
- When you find what you're searching for, tap Done.
You can use Google Lens in Chrome to search anything you find, whether it’s something you come across on a website or a photo you take. Easily do things like identify plants or animals, find similar products, or translate text. Learn how to search with Google Lens in Chrome.
You can enter detailed queries, switch to AI Mode for advanced search experiences, and access various AI tools directly from the address bar.
Important: Some tools aren't yet available to all users. This feature is gradually coming to users outside the US, so it might not be available to you yet.
- On your iPhone, open Chrome

- To access AI Mode, tap the address bar
AI Mode.
- Enter your question.
- To use your voice, select Microphone
.
- On the left of the address box, you can also use the
menu to add multiple items, like recent tabs, images, files, or tools to support your question.
- You can select:
- Add current tab: You can select this option if you want to ask about your current active tab.
- Tabs: You can select this option to ask about multiple open tabs.
- Camera: You can use your camera to add a real-time image to your question.
- Gallery: You can choose images from your gallery to add context to your question.
- Files: You can insert PDF files from your device.
- Create image: You can generate an image from the address bar.
- You can select:
- To use your voice, select Microphone
- To select from history, select View your AI Mode history.
