You can quickly find what you’re looking for on the Internet, in your bookmarks, and in your browsing history. A Chrome feature might not be available if your default search engine doesn't support it.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app .
- In the address bar at the top, enter what you want to search for.
- Tap a result or tap Go.
Search by voice
Above the keyboard or on a new page, tap Microphone .
Search with a QR Code or barcode- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app .
- At the top, tap the address bar.
- Above your keyboard, tap Scan .
- In the highlighted box, position the QR Code or barcode. When it works, a code displays in the address bar.
- Tap Go.

You can find a specific word or phrase on a web page.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app .
- On the page, tap More Find in Page… .
- Enter your search term.
- Matching words are highlighted. The currently selected match is highlighted with a yellow background.
- When you find what you're searching for, tap Done.
You can learn more about an image with Google Lens on iPhone. For example, you can use a photo of a plant to search for what kind it is or find couches similar to an image on the page.
Before you start:
- Set Google as your default search engine.
- Get the latest version of the Google Search app.
To learn more about an image:
- On your iPhone, open the Chrome app .
- Go to any site with an image that you want to learn more about.
- Touch and hold the image.
- In the context menu, tap Search Image with Google.
You can find more info about an image copied to your clipboard from a web page.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app .
- On a page, touch and hold an image.
- Select Copy image.
- Tap the address bar. You find the copied image as a search option.
