You can remove Chrome from your computer (Windows, Mac or Linux), or delete Chrome from your iPhone or iPad.
Disable Chrome
Chrome is already installed on most Android devices and can't be removed. You can turn it off so that it won't show on the list of apps on your device.
- Open your device's Settings app

- Tap Apps.
- Tap Chrome
. If you don't see it, first tap See all apps or App info.
- Tap Disable.
.Use another browser
If you don't want to use Chrome, you can install and use another web browser.
Fix problems with Chrome
Uninstall and reinstall Chrome to fix most problems with default search engines, pop-ups or Chrome updates.
