Generate a password

Let Chrome create and save a strong password for your online accounts.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, sign in to Chrome with your Google Account.
  2. Go to a website and sign up for an account.
  3. Tap on the password text box.
  4. Tap Suggest Password...
    • If you don't find this option, tap Password Save your password and then Suggest Strong Password...
  5. Preview your password.
  6. To confirm, tap Use Password.
  7. To finish your account sign-up, follow the prompts.
Your generated password is automatically saved to your Google Account.
