Manage your protected content settings

Some music or movies that you download or stream might be protected by copyright. When you go to a site with protected content, Chrome may check your device content settings before it shows protected content.

Chrome will play protected content by default.

If you don't want Chrome to play protected content by default, you can change your settings:

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. To the right of the address bar, tap More Settings.
3. Tap Site settings Protected content.
4. Select Ask first or Blocked.

Tip: If you've allowed a site to recognise your device, you can delete the info that you gave that site when you delete your browsing data.
