Go to > Tools > Clear browsing data or press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Mac: ⌘-Shift-Delete). Select the items that you want to clear and click Clear browsing data.
Go to > Bookmarks or press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+B (Mac: ⌘-Shift-B) to dock the bookmarks bar under the address bar.
Go to > Bookmarks > Import Bookmarks and Settings. Select the application containing your bookmarks and select Favorites/Bookmarks.
Go to > Settings. In "Default browser" section, click the Make Google Chrome my default browser button.
If you'd like to see a set of pages when you open Chrome every time, go to > Settings > On startup > Open a specific page or set of pages and click Set pages. Enter the webpage's address and click OK.
If you'd like to see the "Home" button , go to > Settings > Appearance and select the Show Home button checkbox. Click Change to update what page you'd like to use as the home page.

Go to Chrome Web Store’s Theme Gallery. Click a theme to preview it. If you like it, click Choose theme to apply the theme.
When Chrome blocks a pop-up, a icon appears in the address bar. You can click to allow the pop-up to appear. To customize pop-up settings for specific websites, go to > Settings. In the "Privacy" section, click Content Settings to adjust pop-ups settings.
Go to > New Incognito Window or press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+N (Mac: ⌘-Shift-N). In Incognito mode, your browsing and download histories and cookies will not be stored when you close Chrome.
To adjust the default zoom settings for all the webpages you visit (global zoom), go to > Settings > Show advanced settings > Web Content. Use Font size to adjust the text size and Page zoom to adjust the size of everything on your webpages, including images and videos. If you only want to zoom in or out on the page you're viewing, go to and use the or buttons in the Zoom section. You can also press the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl and + to zoom in and Ctrl and - to zoom out (Mac: ⌘ and + to zoom in and ⌘ and - to zoom out).
Updates are available if the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar shows a little up arrow. Click it and select Update Google Chrome. You can also manually check for updates by clicking the Chrome menu and selecting About Google Chrome.
