Use bookmarks

This article applies to Chrome for Mobile.

Bookmarks let you revisit your favorite webpages with one touch. Sign in to Chrome to sync your bookmarks to your Google Account and access them from any device. Learn more about signing in

Create a bookmark

  1. Touch in the omnibox (address bar) on Android devices. Touch Chrome menu > on iOS devices.
  2. Edit the bookmark’s name and address if necessary.
  3. Choose a folder for the bookmark. You can also create a new folder by touching the folder menu, then New Folder.
  4. Touch Save.

Open a bookmark

  1. Touch Chrome menu > Bookmarks (or open a new tab and touch Bookmarks or ).
  2. Touch the bookmark you want to visit.

Import bookmarks from your Android Browser

  1. Touch Chrome menu > Settings > Chrome Menu > Import bookmarks.
  2. Touch Import to copy your bookmarks over from the Android Browser.

You can find these bookmarks by touching Chrome menu > Bookmarks > Mobile Bookmarks > Imported Bookmarks.

Edit or delete bookmark

  1. Touch Chrome menu > Bookmarks (or open a new tab and touch Bookmarks or ).
  2. Touch and hold the bookmark you want to edit or delete.
    • Touch Edit bookmark. Once you're finished editing, touch Save.
    • Touch Delete bookmark to confirm.

Create a homescreen shortcut (Android only)

Add bookmarks you frequently use to your Android Home screen as shortcuts. 

Touch Chrome menu > Add to homescreen.
