Fill out forms automatically in Chrome

You can use Chrome to fill out online forms automatically with saved info, like your name, passwords, addresses, and payment info. Additionally, when you enter info in a new form online, Chrome might ask you if you’d like to save it to your Google Account.

Add, edit, or delete payment & address info you saved in Chrome

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. Tap More More and then Settings Settings.
  3. Tap Addresses and more or Payment methods.
  4. Edit or delete info:
    • Add:
      1. At the bottom, tap Add.
      2. When you've entered your info, at the bottom, tap Done.
    • Edit:
      1. Tap the entry.
      2. At the top right, tap Edit.
      3. When you've changed your info, at the top right, tap Done.
    • Delete:
      1. At the bottom right, tap Edit.
      2. Select the entry.
      3. Tap Delete and then Delete Address and then Done.

If you add, edit, or delete an address and you’re signed in to Chrome with your Google Account, your changes show up on your other devices where you’re signed in to Chrome with the same account.

If your payment method is saved in Google Pay, you'll need to edit or delete it in Google Pay.

Use autofill to fill out a form

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. Go to a website where you need to fill out an online form with contact, payment, or login info.
  3. Select a field in the form.
  4. Tap the saved info you want to autofill the form.

Tip: To find or edit your saved info, on your keyboard, at the top right, tap Expand .

Autofill your home and work addresses from your Google Account

Important:

  • Make sure you’re signed in to Chrome with the Google Account where your home and work addresses are saved.
  • Confirm that your Google Account is filled out with complete home and work addresses. You can find and manage this in your Google Account settings.

You can directly fill your home and work address from your Google Account into online forms. With an address saved in Google Maps, you can complete forms faster.

To use this feature, tap on a home and work address field in an online form. Then autofill shows a suggestion from your Google Account.

Manage your home and work addresses

Your Google Account provides the home and work addresses that Chrome autofill suggests. You can find and manage it in your Google Account settings.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. Tap More More and then Settings Settings and then Addresses and more.
  3. You can:
    • Save and fill addresses: Turn Save and fill addresses on or off.
    • Add an address: At the bottom left, tap Add.
    • Update an address:
      1. Select the address you want to update.
      2. Tap Edit....
        • This redirects you to your Google Account page.
    • Remove an address:
      1. On the address you want to remove, swipe left.
      2. Tap Remove and then Remove address.
    • Bulk remove addresses:
      1. At the bottom right, tap Edit.
      2. Select the addresses you want to remove.
      3. Tap Delete and then Delete addresses.

If you have issues with Chrome not suggesting your saved info

  • To confirm that you’ve saved the info that doesn’t auto populate: Tap More More and then Settings Settings.
  • The website might not be secure enough to get this info from Chrome.
  • If the website is secure, Chrome might not detect certain fields in the form.

Delete your saved autofill form info in Chrome

To delete your addresses, payment methods, or other saved info in Chrome at the same time:

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. Tap More More and then Delete Browsing Data.
  3. Choose a time range, like "Last hour" or "All time."
  4. Under "Advanced," select Autofill form data.
  5. Tap Delete Browsing Data.
