Fill out forms automatically

You can save time by letting Chrome fill out forms automatically with saved info, like your addresses or payment details. When you enter info in a new form online, Chrome might ask you to save it.

Add, edit, or delete your info in Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click Profile Profile and then Payment methods or Addresses.
  3. Add, edit, or delete info: 
    • Add: Next to "Payment methods" or "Addresses," click Add.
    • Edit: To the right of the card or address, click More  Moreand then Edit.
    • Delete: To the right of the card or address, click More  Moreand then Remove

If you add, edit, or delete an address and you’ve turned on sync, your changes will show up on your other devices.

If your payment method is saved in Google Pay, you will still need to edit or delete it in Google Pay.

Delete your saved info

  1. Follow the steps to clear your browsing data.
  2. Under "Advanced," choose Autofill form data.

Cards from your Google Pay account aren't deleted.

Save your payment info to Google Pay

If you’re signed in to Chrome with your Google Account, you can ask Google Pay to make your payment information available across your devices so you can quickly fill out forms. You do not have to be signed-in to Chrome to save your payment info to your devices.
 
When you’re signed-in to Chrome with your Google Account and enter a payment method online, Chrome may ask if you want to save your payment info in Google Pay. If you accept, your payment info will be saved in Google Pay. If Google Pay doesn’t support your payment method, Chrome may offer to save it on your device. 
 
Most payment methods saved in Google Pay will show up as suggestions in Chrome when you’re filling out forms online.

Add, edit, or delete a credit card in Google Pay
  1. Go to pay.google.com.
  2. On the left, click Payment methods.
  3. Find the card you want to edit or delete. You can also add a new card.
    • Add: Click Add payment method. If you don't see the option to add a new card, go to play.google.com/store/account to add a payment method.
    • Edit: Below the card, click Edit.
    • Delete: Below the card, click Remove
Stop syncing payment info to Google Pay

To stop syncing payment info to Google Pay:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and thenSettings.
  3. At the top, under "People," click Sync and Google services.
  4. Under “Sync,” click Manage Sync.
  5. Turn off Sync everything.
  6. Turn off Payment methods and addresses using Google Pay.

When you sign in to your Google Account through a Google service, like Gmail, you’ll be automatically signed in to Chrome. If you don’t want to ever sign in to Chrome, you can turn off Chrome sign-in.

Save contact info to your computer

To only save your info to your computer and not to your Google Account:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and thenSettings.
  3. At the top, under "People," click Sync.
  4. Turn off Sync everything.
  5. Turn off Autofill.

Stop saving info to Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and thenSettings.

  3. At the top, under “People”, click Payment methods or Addresses and more.

    • To stop saving payment info, turn off Save and fill payment methods.
    • To stop saving addresses and contact info, turn off Save and fill addresses.

Chrome doesn't suggest my saved info

If you don't get suggestions when you fill out a form, either:

  • The website might not be secure enough to get this info from Chrome. If the website is secure, learn how to fix issues with saved info.
  • Chrome might not detect certain fields in the form.
