Change the address bar’s position

To improve your browsing experience for devices of different sizes, you can easily adjust where the address bar displays on your mobile devices.

Choose your address bar layout

To customise your Chrome browser, you can select whether your address bar displays at the top or bottom of your screen.

1. On your Android device, open Chrome .
2. At the top right, tap More Settings Address bar.
3. Tap Top or Bottom.
   • Or, you can:
     1. Touch and hold the address bar.
     2. Select Move address bar to the bottom or Move address bar to the top.

Tip: You can only customise your address bar position in portrait mode. In landscape mode, it stays at the top of the screen.
